RETURN TO LONDON FROM THE JOSEF AND ANNI ALBERS RESIDENCY Alex has now returned from her residency at the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation. The three months have flown by and it has been an extraordinary experience and an incredibly productive time.
June 2006
There have been many very long days, resulting in a new body of work. Aside from the large scale drawing (seen above), there are ten 82” x 90” canvases, two 66” x 74”, two 41” x 50, a range of smaller canvases, ink drawings on paper, paintings and drawings on panel, charcoal drawings, folding books, lino cuts and, of course, the series of 88 etchings.
